Don’t Fill Out Your FFL License Application Until You Read This

The Arms Control Act (18 USC sec. 923 (d)) empowers the Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms Snuff and the ability to regulate corporate participation in firearms sales and service. There are lots of rules and regulations that our kit details, you need to know. It’s really not too difficult to obtain a FFL, and ATF approve an application if the applicant:

* It is 21 years or older
* It is not prohibited from shipping, receiving, transporting or possessing firearms or ammunition,
* You have not willfully violated the (Gun Control Act) GCA  or its regulations
* You have not intentionally fail to disclose material information or intentionally made false statements about material facts in connection with an application
* Has facilities (which in many cases can be your home) for conducting business or collecting for C &R; and the applicant certifies that
* The activity is conducted under the license is not prohibited by state or local law in the place where the licensed premise
* Within 30 days after the application is approved the company will comply with the requirements of state and local laws applicable to the conduct of the business
* The company is not conducted under the license until the requirements of state and local laws applicable to the company have been met
* The applicant has sent or delivered a form to the Chief of Police, which houses the offices of the official notification that the applicant intends to apply for a license.
* Safe storage of firearms and safety devices are available at any place in which firearms are sold under the license to persons who are not licensees ( “Stockpiling of security or safety” defined in 18 USC 921 (a) (34)

You get the information you need to apply correctly the first time. There are a lot of myths that the state can not sell outside their home. This is not completely true. Although some cities and state codes and ordinances prohibit home based businesses, there are plenty of times you can sell from your residence.

The cost of a 1 Type dealer license is $ 200.00 for the first 3 years. Renewing your license is $ 90.00 for each additional 3 years after that. They are also looking at least 6 weeks for your application is reviewed and processed by the ATF.
